Convoy supports up to eight drivers in one session. That is a limit of the game rather than the hosting, so a bigger plan buys headroom and stability rather than extra seats.
In the panel. The server has a Steam token field you fill in yourself, using a token you generate for App ID 1948160 on the Steam game server account page. It takes a minute and only has to be done once.
Yes. Everyone driving together needs the same map expansions installed, otherwise players without a DLC cannot load into areas that use it. Agree on which ones you own before a long run, and match the server to that.
Two GB is plenty for a full eight driver convoy. The dedicated server only keeps the session and positions in sync, it does not render the world, so this is one of the lightest servers we host.
Yes, and the rule is the same as for DLC: every driver needs the same mods, in the same load order, or they will not connect. Upload them over FTP and share the exact list with your group.
