Plans start at 5 GB, which gives a persistent settlement and the nightly waves room to run for a full group. If your settlement grows large or the server starts to struggle, you can add more RAM from the panel at any time.

Yes. The password field is empty by default, which leaves the server open to anyone with the address. Set one in the panel if you want your group and nobody else, then share it once rather than reposting your address.

There is a cheats toggle in the panel, off by default. It is genuinely useful for testing a build layout before committing a night to it, but turn it back off before a real run unless everyone has agreed otherwise.
