Astroneer Server Hosting

Astroneer grants admin rights to a named account rather than a password, so the server needs your Astroneer username and your Steam or Xbox ID to know who is in charge. Both are fields on your server in the panel. Fill them in before your first session, otherwise nobody has admin on the world.

You can. Stop the server, upload the save over FTP, and select it as the world to load. Keep your local copy until the server has opened it successfully, since terrain edits make these saves large and a failed transfer is not something you want to discover later.

Yes. There is a server password field in the panel, and leaving it empty makes the server open to anyone who has the address. Set one if you want a private world, and remember every player enters it when they connect.
