How to Reset the End in Minecraft
If you want to restart the End dimension and recreate the fight against the Ender Dragon without affecting the rest of the server (Overworld and Nether), you can reset the End separately. This guide shows you how.
Step by step: Reset the End
Stop your Minecraft server from the control panel.
Open the "Files" tab or connect to the server via FTP.
Find and delete the following folder:
world_the_end
- Once the folder is deleted, start the server again.
The server automatically generates a new End dimension with the Ender Dragon and all content reset the next time a player travels to the End.
Important Notes
- Only the End dimension is reset. The Overworld and Nether remain unaffected.
- End portals in the Overworld work as normal, but now lead to a fresh dimension.
- Remember to back up your existing worlds before making this change.
